The SWG ELITE – Motor Homes policy covers motorhomes and their owners. This policy is ideal for self-propelled motorized vehicles designed exclusively for travel and used for pleasure purposes only. Class A, Class B, and Class C are acceptable. Motorhome coverages include physical damage (all perils) and automobile liability coverage.
Eligibility in Ontario
- All drivers must be licensed at least 8 years in Canada
- The motor home is used for pleasure purposes only
- The motor home must be insured for full value including all taxes
- A bill of sale is required where the insured is the original owner
- The vehicle is equipped with both cooking facilities and a washroom
Alberta Overview
The Elite Motor Home policy has been developed to provide coverage for Motor Homes and their owners. This policy is for self-propelled motorized vehicles designed exclusively for travel and used for pleasure purposes only. Class A, Class B and Class C are acceptable.
The Alberta Motor Home program has two different product options:
Motorhome property product
- Provides various physical damage coverage options and optional premises or comprehensive personal liability
Motor home automobile product
- Provides physical damage (all perils) and automobile liability coverage
